Thank you, WesternU alumni, friends, and donors!

What an incredible year we have had – all thanks to you!

Every year, we are touched by the support that comes from people like you. Your continued engagement with WesternU creates positive change that transforms lives within and outside of the boundaries of our campuses.

This year, however, was an especially eventful one. It marked the return of our students, faculty, and staff to campus, and the return of in-person commencement ceremonies. It also welcomed the next generation of leadership at WesternU with the arrival of our new President, Dr. Robin Farias-Eisner, and the well-deserved retirement of a few college deans who have contributed so much to the legacy of our beloved University.

Also in the past year, significant progress was made in our endeavor to transform WesternU into a bright beacon of hope for students and communities alike. Thanks to you:

  • 395 scholarships totaling $1.8 million were awarded to help more students fulfill their promise of
becoming compassionate, caring health care providers
  • 1,079 students celebrated their hard work and commitment as they walked the stage to receive
the degrees they worked so hard for, bringing our total alumni count to over 20,000
  • WesternU created the largest scholarship endowment in our history – $6 million total – In an effort
to help remove financial barriers for students from lower socio-economic backgrounds and increase
student diversity in graduate health sciences and the health professions workforce

This, and so much more, has only been possible with your unwavering support. The report you are about to explore is a testament to the impact your generosity has had on WesternU. It includes stories and quotes that reflect what you make possible – which we sincerely hope you enjoy.

Thank you to those members of the UA team who contributed so much to our success but are no longer with the University, especially Dr. Diane Abraham, who led the University Advancement department to record-breaking heights in her final year at WesternU.

On behalf of the students and communities whose lives you continue to transform, thank you.
